Almawakeb International School Admissions Policy 

Welcome to Almawakeb International School!

At Almawakeb, we offer a rigorous and nurturing American curriculum for our students from all backgrounds. We believe in fostering a love of learning and preparing students for success in college and beyond. This page outlines our admissions policy, including eligibility, the application process, and important information. 

Who can apply?

  • Students from all nationalities are welcome.
  • We offer programs for students, with English as a Second Language (ESL) support available.
  • There are no entrance exams required, but students entering Secondary School may undergo an assessment to ensure appropriate placement.

Our Admissions Process:

  1. Initial Inquiry: Contact our Admissions office by phone or through our website to schedule a school visit.
  2. School Visit: Meet with our Admissions team and tour the facilities to experience Almawakeb first-hand. Learn more about our curriculum, teachers, and student life.
  3. Application Completion: If you choose Almawakeb, complete an online application form for each student.
  4. Required Documents: Submit the following electronically with your application:
    • Student passport photocopy
    • Parents' passport photocopies
    • 4 passport-sized photos of the student
    • Completed Almawakeb Medical Form
    • Completed Almawakeb Family Contract
    • Financial Policy + Invoice Information Form
    • Recent school reports


  1. Decision and Enrollment: The Admissions team will review your application and notify you of the decision. Upon acceptance, complete the enrolment process online.

Important Information 

We accept applications throughout the year, subject to availability. However, early application is recommended, especially for popular grade levels.

A one-time registration fee of 500 USD applies to all students this fee is non-refundable.

We offer a variety of tuition payment plans. Please refer to our Financial Policy on the website for details.

90 days' written notice is required to withdraw a student and be eligible for a partial fee refund (refer to Financial Policy for details).

The school administration has the right to issue a decision to dismiss a student for specific reasons; For example, if he performs unacceptable behavior, or a serious breach of order and discipline instructions, or causes harm, or otherwise according to the administration's opinion, whether the student was alerted before the dismissal decision or not, in accordance with Turkish law.
